Life Sciences Personal Statement

I have been trying to start writing my personal statement, but I am struggling to incorporate certain things I have done. For example, I have completed a MOOC but how would I write about this in my personal statement.I've also asked some of my teachers in which exams I have come top of the class/year but again how would I talk about this without sounding arrogant. Classics Personal Statement

I have been struggling on writing about what I have done outside of school. I’m pursuing a Classics degree, but I haven’t studied subjects to do with this topic at A Level. This recent interest in Classics means I haven’t had opportunities to take part in any work experience or opportunities in my own time to stand out. Is it enough to write about extra-curricular projects I’ve taken part in which relate to Classics? Thank you! 

Accounting and Finance Personal Statement

I have been struggling on writing about what I have done outside of school. I’m want to take an accounting and finance degree, but I haven’t studied subjects to do with this topic in BTEC. I don't know how to talk about my academics!

I've been trying to write my personal statement, and I am really struggling to get it to all come together. I have a lot of things I can talk about: My work experience, my wider reading, courses I've completed, my volunteering etc. But today, I was told that Oxbridge look for a more academic based personal statement. My initial draft was very extracurricular based, talking about all of my work experience.
